What is the AirDog II-5G?

The new AirDog II-5G is the latest generation lift pump from Pureflow AirDog!  The fifth generation release replaces the current high flow and high pressure II-4G kits.  These include the DF-165 kits for the high pressure Powerstroke engines (7.3L, 6.0L and 6.7L) and the Cummins P-Pump engines (‘94-‘98 5.9L).  It will also take the place of all the current DF-200 kits with the II-5G DF-220.  The new 220GPH flow rate has been tested and proven to provide enough fuel for even the most aggressively modified trucks! What makes the AirDog II-5G different from the II-4G?

The Airdog II-5G features an integrated diaphragm fuel pressure regulator. This makes it the first of its kind in the industry! This allows for more fuel pressure adjustability (7-70 psi), better fuel flow at high pressure and it can be boost compensated.  The high flow rate 220GPH model also has larger porting for less cavitation and noise.  The wiring harness has also received an upgrade. It is now 12ga wire the full length from the battery connection through to the internal motor connections. A metri-pack 280 connector replaces the Deutch 2-pin connector to allow more current flow without any excessive heat.
The II-5G retains the proven, quiet and reliable motor technology used by the II-4G.  It also retains the “demand flow” capabilities of the previous AirDog II systems.  This means that it has a constant supply of clean, pure fuel available for your injector pump at all times (How It Works).  Any fuel not used by the engine is simply recycled back to the tank, so it will never “over-fuel” your system.  The II-5G  still utilizes the same better-than-OEM fuel filter (FF100-2) and water separator (WS100).
